Women who continued the tradition
From the 1960s to mid 1980s the group of outstanding folk creators who performed sand art at shows and competitions in the current Włocławek district included: Eleonora Adamska (1908-2003), Władysława Włodarzewska (1904-1992), Maria Żołnowska (1923-1988) of Świątkowice, Zofia Szmajda-Mierzwicka (1921) of Gajówka, Maria Glińska (1894-1976) of Kruszyn, Genowefa Giergielewicz (1924) of Gołaszewo, Maria Szewczyk (1901-1995) and Leokadia Wolska (1905-1997) of Włocławek, Wiktoria Banasiak (1897-1976) of Bogołomia and Józefa Frankowska (1896-1989) and Maria Frankowska (1896-1977) of Boniewo.
Among the women who continued the tradition, the inhabitants of Żarów (currently Greater Poland Province) were especially active at the time. The group included: Salomea Jasińska (1913-1980), Eleonora Jabłońska (1917-1993), Regina Pacholska (1920), Irena Rosiak (1924), Genowefa Gawrysiak (1931), Eleonora Matusiak (1934) Urszula Kruszyna (1945), Janina Baranowska (1945), Marianna Kacprzak (1891-?), Kazimiera Gierkowska (1942). Stefania Kraszewska performed sand art in Rybno (Greater Poland Province).
